Cheboygan has a long history of excellence on the football field, affectionately known as the gridiron! The Cheboygan Junior Chiefs is a long-established youth football program for over one hundred 3rd-8th graders. Our coaches work closely with the High School football staff and our teams are now running the same offensive and defensive plays as the High School. This becomes the foundation of the hard work and dedication you see on the Varsity Field under those Friday night lights!
Our mission is to allow each child to participate in the great sports of football and cheer regardless of ethnicity, disabilities or income. With less disposable income for many, families are being forced to choose between allowing their child to play the sport they love or providing necessities for their families. Seeing many children unable to play due to finances, we as an organization set a goal to eliminate the fees associated with participation for these families. This can only be done with the generous support of individual, corporate and community sponsors.
With an annual budget of over $15,000, we have our work cut out for us to raise the funds necessary to cover the expenses associated with successfully operating an organization that teaches not only football, cheer and now wrestling skills but life skills and lessons as well.
Here are some of the ways you could help along with ways we can thank you for doing so:
- A gift of $100 – $249 will allow you to become a Gold sponsor. You will receive your name on our game field banner, on a sign at a golf hole or tee during our annual golf scramble and in our end of the year newspaper thank you ad.
- A gift of $250 – $499 allows you to become a Platinum sponsor. You not only receive all the benefits of a gold sponsor, but you will also receive advertisement on our facebook page, twitter feed and a link to your business on our web page. In addition, you will receive a season pass good for up to five people to all Junior Chiefs home football games.
- A gift of $500 or more earns you the title of Diamond. You’ll reap the rewards of our gold and platinum sponsors plus be an end of the year banquet sponsor AND be an exclusive game day sponsor. This means during one of our home games your family or business name will exclusively be advertised by our announcer. There are only six home games scheduled to date, so this is a first come, first advertised opportunity! We are also offering ten free raffle tickets enabling you to potentially win $1,000, $350 or $150 in prize money.
We understand that not everyone can donate in these sponsorship levels and we want you to know that any gift is appreciated and that every gift will receive acknowledgment in our end of the season newspaper thank you ad!
